Dyson won a Society of American Registered Architects (California) award for Lapp RiverHouse (among other works).  The jury liked the house’s “‘total design’ and its backstory [Lencioni Residence]…’Amazingly expansive quality for a smaller house, suitable to the vast surrounding landscape,’ commented the jury. ‘There were some great manipulations with the form and the geometry to accomplish these goals.'” The jury praised Dyson’s built-in furniture, a feature of which I’ve always been fond.
