It’s well over the century mark here in Central California, but I’m working under the dramatic cantilevered roofline, and I’m perfectly comfortable.  With the overhang, river breeze, and ceiling fans, we were able to avoid putting in air conditioning–on the hottest days it might be in the 80s inside.  Without air conditioning (and with radiant floor heating), we avoid ductwork in the ceiling, so we see whole span–18 feet at its highest.
